If you buy guitar cases offline then don’t be afraid to take the instrument into the shop to try out the case. If you decide to buy a case offline then measure your guitar carefully to check it fits.
The main factor when choosing to buy guitar cases is how much protection you want. For the most protection a hardshell or flight case is best. Nylon guitar cases don’t provide anywhere near as much protection, and are really only suitable for making short trips with your instrument. If you own an expensive guitar then it makes sense to get a high quality case.
